How to Request a Document Copy
The Wisconsin Marine Historical Society is continually adding to the Libraryʼs
Vessel collection. If you do not find the ship you are searching for, consider
submitting a research request form
because the information may be available, just not yet part of the database.
You will be notified within three working if the material is available.
Research fees average $15 per vessel for a copy of the basic ship file that normally contains a data sheet, photocopies of available black and white photos (maximum of two) and general information. If the ship file contains extensive data we will advise you of any additional cost.
Upon receipt of a check or money order (in U.S. dollars), the information will be mailed to you. Make out check or money order to Wisconsin Marine Historical Society, 814 W. Wisconsin Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53233-2385. You may also visit the Library and talk to a staff member in the Libraryʼs Humanities Room, located on the second floor of the Central Library.
